NRA Instructor Pistol Shooting Course
This 16-hour course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Basic Pistol Shooting course.
Prerequisite: Possession of basic firearm safety and shooting skills is a prerequisite for certification as an NRA Instructor. Prior to the instructor training, candidates will complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm background in pre-course assessment exercises.
Description: This course is presented in two parts: Basic Instructor Training, and discipline specific (Pistol) Instructor Training. Students will be required to demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination. Students will receive the NRA Trainer’s Guide, NRA Pistol Shooting Instructor Candidate Packet and NRA Basic Pistol Shooting course student packet. This is a 16 hour minimum course, however, ShootLogic is not in the business of providing minimum criteria. Published class times allow for additional instructional time to ensure quality, understanding, and mastery of the information provided. Please keep in mind that attendance does not guarantee Certification.
Tuition: $550.00 ($50% Deposit at registration. Balance is due the day of class)
Schedule: Day 1 Basic Instructor Training; 8am to 6pm.
Day 2 Basic Pistol Instructor Training: 8am to 6pm
Hospitality: Students should bring a bag lunch each day. Coffee, snacks and light refreshments will be available.
